Woodstock Resident 40 years

Lynn has recently opened a studio at her home at 1557 Sawkill Road (opposite Kingston Reservoir #1) for her oil painting display.

Lynn is a painter, silversmith, and has worked in clay. She was a career Social Worker and now paints more avidly since she retired. Boating on the Hudson River, tennis, and choral singing are her hobbies.

Lynn has served on the Board of the WAAM twice, the Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy and Ars Choralis. She is currently on the Board of the Woodstock Tennis Club.  Volunteering is very satisfying to her.

Lynn has studied watercolor painting with Staats Fasholdt, and oil painting with Mary Anna Goetz and Paul Abrams. She has shown locally at the WAAM, Woodstock Guild, Woodstock School of Art, and other galleries. She would like to acknowledge her father, George B. Patterson, who taught Art Studio, History, and Design at the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan and gave her a legacy of art appreciation.

The Studio is open by request or weekends in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Look for the sign or drop by.
